Since more than a year, I have been exploring AI for architecture and construction. And I learn a lot on LinkedIn!
Especially from a handful of influencers who share their discoveries about :
✨ AI to create images
✨ AI to automate BIM tasks
✨ AI to generate floor plans
✨ AI to automate project management or documentation
And many other AI in AEC topics.
So I wanted to group them together in one document so I can share with my students and include it as a Resource for my online courses to learn AI in architecture .
If you want to learn AI in AEC, I encourage them to follow them as well to learn faster and discover the awesome workflows that are now possible with AI.
I followed two online courses by Ismail who is an architect, current working for Foster + Partners.
He has greatly influenced my understanding of the Stable Diffusion ecosystem for creating architectural images.
I like the fact that he is exploring all the creative possibilities of AI, especially training AI models to learn architectural styles as different as photo realistic images, hand drawn illustrations, architecture models and so on.
On Civitai, he shared several free LORA for Architecture that you can use for free to get an architectural rendering style
✨ Carlos Bañón
I have been following Carlos Bañón for a while now, and I am really impressed by the examples of his creations with AI. Carlos Bañon is an architect but also a teacher at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD).
He experiments with Stable Diffusion Image, Control net, Video. I like the inspiring image he shares like on LinkedIn.
He is also developing an AI design tool for Architect that use the real time AI rendering to get real time feedback of our design choices. This reflection to bridge the gap between the domain of AI rendering and design is to me quite promising!
